Cellphone Trouble

28th October 2005

My beautiful morning was spent like this:

Had History SPM Seminar in the evening at Tutorial Lee Tuition Centre.

Mom came home late today and told me that she got fined for speaking on the phone while driving. This was her conversation with the police officers.

Police #1 : Ah moi, mana boleh cakap kat telefon bila memandu?
Mom : Oh, sorry la sir saya tengah call emergency ni.
Police #1 : Call emergency? Tak boleh lah! Tak tengok newspaper semalam kah?
Mom : So sorry la sir, saya really tak tahu mar. Macam mana skarang sir?
Police #2 : Hmmm.. u mau satu ratus atau tiga ratus?

I was speechless when my mom told me about the incident.
Just want to remind drivers out there, avoid any phone conversation without handsfree while driving especially in this festve season.

Anyway, an hour later, Shih Mun called and invited me for a drink and a few games of snooker with Edmond and Desmond at Asia Cafe.

^ Desmond enjoying his Char Kuey Teow.

^ Shih Mun ordered some grilled fish. He forced me to help him finish it, which I did, without hesitation. =)

^ Shih Mun reaching for one of the dishes. I introduced to them some delicious Japanese seafood balls covered with garlic skin. Till today, I still don't know what it is called.

^ Played snooker at Vision Snooker Centre, which was located about 70 meters away from Asia Cafe. The scoreboard is showing a 55-48 victory to my partner, Shih Mun and I against the Choong brothers(Edmond and Desmond).

^ Edmond in deep concentration. Puvana and Chin Ren dropped by soon after that.

Nothing much to blog about and it's getting pretty late already. I have an 8 hours seminar at Holiday Villa commencing in about 5 hours time.
I need my sleep badly.

so, was it 100 or 300? i hope it was 300. the only thing to stop corruption is by not giving in to them. my mom kena once before and guess what she did? she asked for the details of the policeman to jot down**implicating that the police department would really be interested to hear that one of their fellow policemen are going against the laws! and u know what happened? the policeman said.."its okay-lah. boleh pergi".. haha.losers!

Finally..

*Dances and spins around* I had a good day today! :) Went shopping with my mom in IOI Mall Puchong earlier in the evening. The main intention was to get my suit for school prom. Here is a list of the items bought: Action Ladfigure Inc T-shirt Giordano Collared T-shirt BUM Equipment Underwears Smart Master Black Blazer Smart Master Black Bowtie Smart Master Black Business Slacks Smart Master White Tuxedo Shirt At last I've decided on my prom suit with the help of my mom and my sisters. For this shopping trip itself, I've spent a whopping RM708.40 , thus breaking the record of the highest spent on a shopping trip. You see, I don't shop often. I do my wardrobe shopping only twice a year or more when needed. I'm thankful that my mom is willing to sponsor all the expenses. Love you lots mom! Muax! Oh, and not forgetting, my Karate instructor appeared in the newspaper again! New challenge for fighters Arivalagan MALAYSIA may not like the idea of the karate team competitions

The Pole Incident

I went through an almost similar incident as Natalia's mini-tiang-embarrassment . You see, the exit we went through, there was this mini tiang thingy RIGHT at the centre of the exit. Yes, you would think I rammed into that tiang thingy. But how funny would THAT be? Noooo, what I DID was... I was walking and walking then SUDDENLY, that tiang thingy was going THROUGH me! (or rather under me) YES, MY GOOD PEOPLE, it went through my legs! VERY, VERY OBSCENE AND INCREDIBLY EMBARASSING BUT ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST! -Natalia of www.xanga.com/misswishful/ But I was much more UNFORTUNATE . Yes, you might have guessed it, I didn't go through it, I rammed into it instead. She's lucky because the pole in her college was shorter, while the one I rammed into (near Asia Cafe) was much taller. A clearer view of the height of the pole a.k.a. tiang thingy ? Yeah, OUCH ! =( I'm so unlucky. Stupid @#$!@$$!% tiang thingy !
