Really?

Wow, stumbled upon my blog again after 4 years. I was overwhelmed with nostalgia reading back previous posts. This isn't a come-back, just an update necessary to announce to the world(and non-existent readers) I'm very much alive. Life's a little different than how it used to be. No more care-free days like how it was during school & college(the time when most of my previous posts were written). I guess it's always the cliched process of growing up. I'm feeling the pressure to succeed and be what life wants me to be at my age. Love-wise, I'm still single for the third year running, but I guess it's mostly because of this super-imposed defence mechanism I created that keeps me from getting hurt. But I'm sure it will change when the right one comes. (Crossing fingers to this crush I've been stalking on youtube videos haha) It's almost 8 in the morning and I think I should hit the sack. Spent the last few hours glued on Youtube, an addicti...

2 Months Later

Just as how you guys have expected, another long hiatus. Well, my sincerest apologies that this misery isn't gonna end as I won't find myself updating in awhile. Thanks for all those daily hits anyway, you know who you stalkers are, and I really do appreciate them. Nothing much has come by lately. As many of you may know, I've been back in hell-island for a fortnight already. The food sucks, the pounds are losing, the Anniversary was a few days back, so you get the picture of how I feel about home. At least I have a reliable internet connection now. I couldn't be more parasitic with my roommate's laptop and Celcom 3G. Shame on me. Not really in an uber good mood to blog anyway. Was updating just for the sake of it. You want real updates about me? Then go there -> pngjinli.blogspot.com . (As if you don't know already..) A moment of truth: Throughout my holiday back in KL for the past 3 months, I gained a jaw-dropping 11 kilos! Good news, only to the girlfrie...

Our Story...

It has been almost 10 months up and down the road in a new relationship. Before it began, little did I know what's upfront when I decided to step myself into this subjective world of what many people would call "love" . I met her 10 years ago when we were in primary school. The day she entered the school in primary four, fate inconceivably brought us together when she was told by the teacher to take the vacant seat next to me in class. As most of us guys have been through at the age, girls were THE enemies. Hence, the solemn act of hate. But truthfully, I had an admiration going on for this stranger whom I only knew her name that time. I still remember that innocent, fair and flawless beauty; when teased, turned cherry red. The admiration encountered soon left me as we all mature and grow up in the same secondary school; even hung-out with the same group of friends. Just about 10 months ago, fate brought us back together. Then was when I saw her the way I've never s...

Surprise: Updates!

I know I should be smacked for the sudden comeback and then the "already expected" disappearance thereafter. But, I should be forgiven because it's not really my fault that the internet access at my campus is totally inefficient. I just came back to home-sweet-home a few days back. And I won't be going back to Langkawi anytime soon, thanks but no-thanks to my stupid school for the delay. That means I've to be prepared to lose some weight that's unavoidably gonna be gained. :\ A brief update of my pretty dull life since the last post: April ^I started my flying course and til this day, I have 41 hours and 55 minutes of flying experience, therefore earning me to Private Pilot License. I have another 158 hours and 5 minutes left to complete my course. Damn, that'll take ages! ^Made a trip down to Penang in the middle of my course to accompany THE girlfriend and her family on her father's business-cum-vacation trip. My journey from my school in Langkawi t...

The End of an Extremely Long Unexplainable Hiatus

Did a little change on the template. I guess I don't represent the "pink" layout too well anymore. Cause? A change of ego, or probably hormones, I suspect. So what brought me back here? Nothing really. I had many temporary motivations to start blogging again over the past one year and a half, but, you know, the usual procrastinations which always end up in what-they-call "hangat-hangat tahi ayam" . Plus, a hectic course schedule and crippled internet access at my campus add-on to it. So.... You get the picture. Many life events have passed, and here I am, sitting down infront of my Ye Ol' Faithful computer (add Ice-Age to that) reminiscing about the good ol' days. I'm back here in Subang for a holiday you see, after having spent the past one year in Langkawi with my "Air Taxi Driver" career on track. YES, if some of you may ask, there IS a flying school in that alcohol and tobacco infested island. Lucky me. ;) After 2 months of infinite...

Of 3 Fat Virgins Unassembled and Adrian's Birthday

I just came home from a quirky play titled 3 Fat Virgins Unassembled in Sunway University College with Victoria , Vee Lyn , and Adrian . It was awesomely entertaining (considering that it's free admission and I have great interest in performing arts) and it worth every bit of my time and effort. The 4 multi-talented actresses were portraying women from all stages of life in the intention to render a message on confidence and self-esteem to the audience. I personally think they succeeded in accomplishing the objective. ^A scene from the play. Photo courtesy of Adrian Kong. I've so many things to blog about, especially about Kel Li's 21st birthday party two nights ago. I think I'll put it on pending till I get (or steal =P) a few decent pictures from the party. On the other hand, I've just received a few photos from Adrian taken on his birthday celebration in Marche, The Curve on 8th September. I know that's like one freaking month ago, but what the heck, I...

...

Didn't you want to hear the sound of all the places we could go Do you fear the expressions on the faces we don't know It's a cold hard road when you wake up and I don't think that I have the strength to let you go Maybe it's just me, Couldn't you believe that everything I said and did, wasn't just deceiving And the tear in your eye, and your calm hard face makes me wish that I was never brought into this place There goes my ring It might as well have been shattered and I'm here to sing about the things that mattered about the things that made us feel alive for oh so long about the things that kept you on my side when I was wrong Maybe it's just me, Couldn't you believe that everything I said and did, wasn't just deceiving And the tear in your eye, and your calm hard face makes me wish that I was never brought into this place And someday, I promise I'll be gone And someday, I might even sing this song To you, I might even sing this song, ...

I'm free and bored, so I think I should spend this rare opportunity doing nothing else but updating my uber outdated blog. LOL. Once again, due to bad financial management, I'm broke for the month. Looks like its economy rice, no clubbing, no ciggies, and no (insert any appropriate unnecessary money-burning subject here) till I get my allowance again in November. Till then, it's sure gonna be hell for me since there are so many events I wanna attend and so many things I wanna do this month! Probably I should just sell my backside at Chow Kit Road . = I just caught Jackie Chan's latest movie, Rob-B-Hood , with my sister at Sunway Pyramid in the afternoon. Just like most of Jackie's movies (especially A New Police Story) , Rob-B-Hood was excellent! I admit I teared up a little in that movie - and you better don't call me a pussy , it's just that I'm a very heartful person. =) ^My sister forced me to pose my "puppy-dog eyes" while waiting...

The only way is FORWARD

Sorry for the lack of updates (yes, again .. > . I so wanted to blog on Thursday, but I couldn't because my internet was down over the past 4 days for some unknown reasons. Streamyx has been a little unreliable lately (or is it all the time?) and I bet I won't be the only one saying it. (Hearing people shouting from a distance, "How about those days before Thursday itself!?") OK fine, apart from the internet down thingy, reasons why I didn't feel like blogging over the past one week is probably because of the lack of motivation, or there's nothing to blog about. Life doesn't seem to be as interesting or happening lately. That's what I get for spending 90% of my allowance on the first 10 days of the month. Don't ask me how it happened, it just did. = Anyway, for something different, instead of updating about the past, let's announce what's coming up! It's not easy, to be, ME..

It seems like I've already abandoned my blog, but I haven't okay? I was a little too busy over the past 10 days that I couldn't even find time to blog. Looks like I'm currently updating my blog on weekly basis , which is not good; for I think I'm losing all my blogders ! :( The holidays have ended just a few days ago, and as usual, it's back to dragging myself back to college. College couldn't get any worse than having your assignments, homework, exams, and presentations all due in the week right after the holidays! I'm going a little more than crazy already. =S Anyway, just like the usual blogging style of mine, it's time for updates! =) Oh my, it has been quite some time already and I'm now scratching my head trying to recall what have happened then. Oh, now I remember! Let's start with what happened after 12am on Monday! Monday, September 11, 2006. Vee Lyn and Penny sorta made me sneaked out of my house at 2am. Yes, those two crazy peeps...

Moving on..

"I was born... to tell you I love you..." Haha, I'm going all emo listening to Your Call by Secondhand Serenade. It's like playing on repeat in my Winamp for the past few days and I'm still not sick of it yet. ;) Alright, enough of emo-ness from the previous post. It's time for updates! Weee~ Tuesday, September 5, 2006. It was another Merdeka for the A Level students of Taylor's College, because it's the final day before the start of a 12 days mid-semester break. To celebrate it, my classmates and I had it on at the futsal pitch. Amazingly, I was on form that I actually scored 6 goals (which I don't when I normally play with my ex-highschoolmates) ! Call me lucky or whatsoever, but I still scored 6 bloody goals! =P At night, Shaz generously got us (a bunch of about 29 people consisted of mostly bloggers) complimentary tickets to Nacho Libre in Midvalley. If you're a super duper huge fan of Jack Black and nothing else, that's a movie w...

Untitled..

I was looking through the collection of some of my old photos dated way back into 2003 which was when I first got my digital camera - when I found this: This photo of a part of my room was taken at the end of 2004. Almost a couple of years has gone by and yet my room still hasn't change; only that it's much messier now. I kinda like this particular amateur piece of mine, probably because it depicts all kind of feelings just by looking at it. The atmosphere of this picture is quite serene, yet you can still feel a tinge of gloom inside. The unattended chair and computer portray emptiness. The subdued sunlight through the curtains captures the feeling of the bright and cheerful outdoors, yet darkness still roam inside the room. I feel just the same.

Merdeka! Merdeka!! Merdeka!!!

Shit, I'm still suffering from my sorethroat and somehow it got even worst after I woke up this morning. Spending the past few days drinking and smoking in intolerable amount surely got my throat felt like it has been forcefully (and successfully) blocked with a bloody huge rock. The medicine the doctor prescribed me during my last visit on Tuesday just ran out this morning. I think I'll need to make another trip to the clinic soon. ANYWAY, Merdeka's eve night was spent in an uber patriotic mood. Proof? (Photo courtesy of William Ng) Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Hey! I meant it seriously okay? Mun Hoe , his other half, and his other half's friend were there as witnesses too! We spent the countdown to our country's 49th Independence Day at Ambang Kemerdekaan which was held in Sunway Lagoon. Definitely not an event to look out for or even stay till the ending for the cool and happening youth, but in my opinion, the event went pretty good. In fact, I bet they still mana...

An MIA Update

First of all, I would like to thank all those whom comforted me about the loss of my phone. I really (yes, really) appreciate it. I somehow managed to pester and bargain with my brother to lend me his Samsung X680 until the end of year - which I have about 4 months to save enough money to buy a new phone. I wonder if Sony Ericsson will release a brand new K8 5 0i by then. Secondly, I would like to apologise for the short hiatus - which is about a week already? Dang! How time flies. Oh well, who cares anyway if I update or don't. I just don't feel motivated to blog without pictures, and almost all the images in my previous entries were actually taken on my beloved (and departed) camera-phone, which I lost exactly a week ago. I'm so sorry if I bore the hell out of you with an almost imageless post because photos are scarce without my K750i. =( Tuesday, August 22, 2006. At about 7pm, this was the day my phone got out of my sight once and for all. I met up with a few others ...

Stolen..

My 8 months old Sony Ericsson K750i phone just got stolen last evening. It was my first time experience of having a phone stolen, worst of all, happened on the first time I brought my phone with me to the basketball court on the first time in months I actually motivated myself to play basketball again. How fucked up can that be? I wasn't much worried or bothered about the loss in terms of material, but instead the sentimental and emotional value stored in it. Oh well, I'll just have to make myself learn the lesson, and think positively towards the loss just like how a friend of mine told me at the basketball court after the incident, "It might be a blessing in disguise."

Of Qbar and Petaling Street

Nicholas Lai's belated birthday celebration at Qbar was a little wild . 2 bottles of Black Label all majored to only 6 guys. I didn't get drunk, although I puked like mad. Probably because I forgot I haven't had my dinner and I drank a little too much that night. ^Our drinks. Sorry the place was too dark and my flash sucked. Slept at 5am tipsy with neck and headaches but woke up at 11:55am in the morning feeling all fresh. Most of all, no hang-over! It's so weird, like WTF right? Sent my sister to the airport at 2pm. She's going to Bangkok to meet up with my mom and bro who are already there since Friday. So it's only left to my other sister and me home-2lone (two people home-alone?) for the rest of the week. At night, I met up with Penny at Baywatch. Then we headed down to KL to find a place to sit, chat, drink and eat. We ended up at the freaking filthy Petaling Street for some delicious Hokkien Mee. Can you believe that it was my first time there at nig...

Of ONE YEAR and Leo Installation

Today is a very special day for my blog and I. Because the 19th of August 2006 marks the 1 Year Old Birthday of vpws.blogspot.com ! Can't believe how fast time flies, and it has already been a year since the creation of this blog. It wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for YOU , my loyal blogders (blog readers) ! Terima kasih banyak-banyak! =) I was surprised to have myself wakened up before noon today, because I slept around 4am this morning. At 2pm, I attended the Region 5 South and North Leo Club Joint Installation in Sri Sedaya. My sister Victoria was the new incoming President for her club, whilst the other sister Vanessa held the incoming Funding Director. Now, I guess there is no need to use the word "incoming" anymore. Since I'm in a rush to head on to QBar for a friend's belated birthday celebration, I'll just post a few pictures from the event. ^This is not a camwhore picture, because this was taken just to make sure whether I l...

Updated! :)

LOL, my blogging-spree ended just after I mentioned it. Let's see what happened over the past few days. I was in college just for one class on Thursday. After the first class early in the morning, I went to a clinic nearby to have a check-up on my usual morning sinus. I basically had that problem for almost every morning over the past 4 years. Only yesterday did I realised that it has taken its toll on me because my concentration in class was affected so badly - and that every time it leaked, I felt like pulling my whole nose out from my face! So, then was when I decided to bring my first sinus problem to the clinic. My visit to the clinic that morning brought me home with an MC letter and bad news - I was diagnosed with Allergic Rhinitis . If I didn't go through treatment now, I would have to suffer from the chronic life-long Sinusitis later on. Thus, I will have to spray this into both my nostrils twice a day, continuously for the next THREE MONTHS! : ^The thirty-bucks shit...
